Contribute to Merisphere Review

Merisphere Review welcomes reviews, analyses, short essays, intellectual portraits, interviews and proposals for thematic dossiers.

This reading edition faithfully presents the article’s central argument. The complete source text remains available in French.

What you may submit

Merisphere Review accepts book reviews, analyses of works, short essays, intellectual portraits, interviews and dossier proposals in philosophy, the humanities and social sciences, literature, education, history, cultures and heritage.

Particular attention is given to African and diasporic authors, researchers and academics, without geographical exclusion. Every text should present a clear question, an argued reading and an identifiable contribution.

Indicative formats

A review may contain approximately 800–1,500 words; an article or essay 1,500–3,000 words; and a reading note or short intervention 600–1,000 words. These ranges may be adapted where the subject requires it.

Submit an editable Word or OpenDocument file with a title, a short author biography, complete references and any relevant image links or permissions.

Editorial requirements

Contributions must be original, clearly written and respectful of copyright. Previous publication or simultaneous submission elsewhere must be disclosed, and quotations and sources must be verifiable.

Merisphere may suggest corrections to language, structure or presentation. Substantial changes require the author’s approval. Submission guarantees neither acceptance nor a publication date.

How to send a proposal

Email the text to merisphere@outlook.com with the subject ‘Proposal for Merisphere Review’. Include your name or pseudonym, country or institution if desired, the contribution type and a brief presentation of the topic.

The first examination considers editorial fit, clarity, sources and rights. The Review may accept the text, request revision or decline it. Personal details are used only to process the submission and are not published without permission.

Other ways to participate

Readers may recommend a book for review, suggest a dossier theme, report an error or offer constructive criticism. Use the same email address so that the Review retains one editorial channel.

You are welcome to share Merisphere Review, while respecting the context and rules of the groups, forums and institutions in which you participate.
