Logistics corridor
Definition. A set of infrastructure, services and procedures enabling the regular movement of goods between several territories.
Key points. A corridor may combine a port, roads, railways, pipelines, depots, border posts and customs procedures. Its operation therefore depends on physical infrastructure as much as on administrative rules. For a landlocked state, having several corridors reduces the consequences of the closure or disruption of one route.
